Ever had a Zutons track come on shuffle and been full of regret that you never saw them live? Devo’d that you’d never hear Dave McCabe belt out ‘You Will You Wont’ live? It may have been a Long Time Coming (sorry) but we’re so chuffed to hear the band is back together and their coming back with a bang.
Original band members, Dave McCabe, Abi Harding, Boyan Chowdhury, Russell Pritchard and Sean Payne have reunited and will be hitting the road to perform 2004 debut album, Who Killed…..The Zutons, in full in 2019.
The band took to their Twitter account for the first time since 2016 to announce the news and as expected the response has been huge.
Hi everyone! Guess what we’ve gone and done? Yes, we’ve all knocked our heads together and realised we love each other and you lot too, so we’re getting back together to tour the first album in its entirety. So get ready ‘cos the tickets go on sale Friday 30/11/18. pic.twitter.com/geoWP6wFOO

With 13 incredible, timeless tracks on the bill, from ‘Confusion’ to ‘Dirty Dancehall’ and everything in between, The Zutons will play 8 dates in March and April 2019. The most important of these is of course, their epic homecoming gig at Liverpool Olympia on Friday 5th April 2019. Get that in your diary along with Friday 30th November, as that’s when these tickets go on sale, and they’re expected to fly out.
No Scouser can hear ‘sometimes I go out by myself and I look across the water’ without getting all misty eyed about the River Mersey.
Anyone who denies that Abi Harding is an indie rock icon, is a d*ck. She plays the sax, belts the tunes out and has got that indie chic look nailed! G’wed girl.
The noughties saw The Zutons rapid rise to the top. Mercury Music Prize nominees, British Breakthrough Act, Top 10 albums, tours, festivals, you name it.
Anyone still got their 3D glasses that came with the Who Killed….The Zutons LP with the 3D front cover? Petition to get a 2018 edition re-stock?
None of that Mark Ronson rubbish! Oh no, the original and the best will always, always feature on our playlist. Won’t you come on over?
