Theatrical hit The Kite Runner is coming to Liverpool Playhouse

Bringing Khaled Hosseini’s internationally bestselling novel to life, The Kite Runner direct from its acclaimed Broadway season is set to make a triumphant return to the Liverpool Playhouse from Tuesday 23 April – Saturday 27 April 2024.Â
Prepare to embark on an emotional journey as the internationally acclaimed stage adaptation of Khaled Hosseini’s bestseller, The Kite Runner, returns to the Liverpool Playhouse from Tuesday 23rd April to Saturday 27th April 2024.
Originally produced by Nottingham Playhouse and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse, The Kite Runner first mesmerised Liverpool audiences in 2013 and later embarked on a successful UK tour in 2018.
Now, after captivating audiences on both Broadway and the West End, this unforgettable production is back to stir hearts once again.
The stellar cast includes Stuart Vincent, known for his roles in ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ and the previous UK tour of ‘The Kite Runner’, portraying the complex character of Amir. Yazdan Qafouri takes on the roles of Hassan and Sohrab, while Daphne Kouma and Aram Mardourian deliver powerful performances as Soraya and Kamal, respectively.
Returning to the production are Dean Rehman and Bhavin Bhatt, along with a talented cast, including Ian Abeysekera, Stanton Wright, and Christopher Glover.
The ensemble includes Amar Aggoun and Sulin Hasso, along with Hanif Khan, the Tabla player.Â
