There are two Makers Markets at Royal Albert Dock this Christmas

After a hugely successful year in Liverpool the team at Makers Market have announced they are setting up shop on December 9 and December 16 for a Christmas bonanza, dock side.

Taking up residency at the iconic Royal Albert Dock Liverpool, be prepared to grab a glimpse of Liverpool’s finest bakers, creators, designers and collectors.

With carefully selected artisans showcasing their produce and a bewildering line-up of stallholders, your Christmas shopping will be covered.

If you love unique art, quirky modern craft or vintage the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Christmas Makers Market has an abundance of frankly stupendous individuals set to inspire. Or if food and drink is more up your street then fear not as they will have those taste buds tingling in no time at all. 

Stroll around the market, meet the producers and of course sample the goods from cheese to chocolate, puddings to pies, posh tarts to gluten free goodies, and much more. 

Expect festive treats, inspiring art and design, gifts for the whole family and hot food to warm your cockles whilst at the Dock, Christmas lights will twinkle around the quaysides of the iconic Grade I listed location – making it a magical place to visit during the festive season.

Visitors must check out Tate Liverpool’s new exhibition – Fernand Léger: New Times, New Pleasures – the first major UK exhibition in 30 years of the renowned French artist, while the Dock’s other attractions, Merseyside Maritime Museum, International Slavery Museum and the Beatles Story provide a full cultural programme for all the family to enjoy.

No trip to the Dock this Christmas is complete without an Insta-moment next to Liverpool Mountain – a new, striking, ten-metre-high sculpture of fluorescent coloured rocks by international artist, Ugo Rondinone – his first public artwork in the UK located right here on Liverpool’s UNESCO World Heritage waterfront.

And of course, the Dock also boasts an evolving and eclectic mix of independent shops and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Makers Market will be open at the Albert Dock on the 9th and 16th December 11-4pm.
