There’s a Dog Social happening at The Caledonia this weekend
5 years ago

Liverpool is fast becoming the dog loving capital of the UK, with events for our pooches happening near enough every weekend, and we have found one that is too good to miss.
One the city’s oldest pubs has not only gone completely vegan in recent months, but it has also embraced its four legged customers too with dogs of all shapes, sizes & breeds welcome through the famous doors.
The Caledonia on Catharine Street dates back to the early 1800’s and has not only become famous for its friendly welcome and real ales, but also for its doggy treats and ‘creature-less’ food menu.
This Sunday, January 28th January there will be a mass dog walk starting off at the famous pub at 12pm. Afterwards the pack walk heads to St James Gardens at Liverpool Cathedral and then back for a pint or two for 1.30pm via Husskinson Memorial.
Doggy pints will be available on the day, and of course multiple water bowls and treats.
The walk will be led by Pub Landlady, Laura and her beautiful Dachshunds who have become the doggy faces of The Caledonia.
What a great way to get your pooch used to a pint in the pub with other dogs and pups.
