There’s a hospitality jobs fair in Liverpool tomorrow with over 200 vacancies available
3 years ago
Liverpool Hospitality Jobs Fair takes place at Masons on Seel Street on Wednesday 4 May
In a city region famed for its incredible hospitality scene, it’s no secret that the industry has suffered during the pandemic.
And whilst the situation is certainly improving in 2022, for countless restaurants, bars, pubs and hotels the staffing crisis has not really gone away. Covering everything from high end fine dining to casual eating, to intimate pubs and huge bars to boutique hotels and the big brand names spread across Liverpool, the impact is the same with ongoing staff shortages.
To help solve this challenge, Jobcentre Plus and members of Liverpool Hospitality have come together to organise a recruitment day. There are hundreds of jobs available at the event taking place on Wednesday 4th May at Mason’s Hotel on Seel Street from 10am – 2pm. All participants must register here: Liverpool Hospitality Jobs Fair Tickets, Multiple Dates | Eventbrite
With a record numbers of vacancies open across the sector and many businesses experiencing challenges filling these positions, Jobcentre Plus initially reached out to Paul Askew from The Art School to ask members of Liverpool Hospitality to take part in a jobs fair and the response has been fantastic.
Paul says:
“This event is really going to help fill some critical roles in hospitality across the city, and it’s great to see some of the leading names coming together with all of these brilliant positions. Hospitality is a wonderful career choice and it can be a lifelong path. At The Art School and across Liverpool there are many amazing opportunities to embark on a career in the sector and be part of something special. For me, Liverpool really is the UK’s hospitality city and we hope to see anyone looking for work like this to come to the jobs fair on Wednesday.” Paul will also be speaking at the event.
There will be over 200 vacancies available from a wide range of companies including: Marriott, Crowne Plaza, Titanic Hotel, EPIC, Holiday Inn, Louvre Hotels, Pulman, Hard Day’s Night, The Sir Thomas, Novotel, Maray, The Art School, Zizzi, Wagamama and The One O’Clock Gun.
