There’s Halloween thrills & tasty treats at Liverpool ONE this Half Term

Face Painting, crafty workshops, discounts at Disney and kids eat free at Liverpool ONE this half term.

October half term at Liverpool ONE is always bursting with activities. Shopping, dining and Halloween fun comes together in a whole week of family friendly events, entertainment and offers. There’s a whole evening of Halloween themed fun on 31st October with street theatre, a huge Halloween drumming parade and giveaways too. Liverpool ONE restaurants are offering kids the chance to eat free and you can even make your very own scary piñata!

Arachnobot

Make sure you’re at Liverpool ONE on Tuesday 30th October to witness a seriously spooky spectacle. Aracnabot will be roaming the streets looking for prey among the half term crowds. Get your camera phones ready and head to Paradise Street (4pm & 6:30pm) and South John Street (5:30pm) to get up close and personal with this giant Halloween visitor. More info here. 

Kreepy Katumba Drummers on Parade

The fabulous Katumba Drummers will be performing live at Liverpool ONE (think Thriller with added bass!) on both 27th and 31st October. Catch the official Katumba Halloween Parade, snaking its way through the city centre (and Liverpool ONE) from 9pm on 27th. Then there’s more haunting musical performances at South John Street at 4:30pm and 7pm, or on Paradise Street at 5:45pm and 7:30pm on 31st as part of the Liverpool ONE Halloween celebrations. Halloween Spooktacular

Your family friendly October 31st fun is sorted at Liverpool ONE. From 4pm-8pm you’re invited to enjoy street theatre, live music, Halloween games, spooky giveaways and more. Get your fancy dress on and bring your trick or treat bags as Radio City will be giving away cupcakes too. Check out the full programme of events here. 

Petrifying Pinata’s & more at Cass Art  

There’s crafty workshops for kids to take part in this Halloween half term at Cass Art, Liverpool ONE. Make your own Scary Pinata on 27th October from 11am til 4pm. These are pre-bookable sessions that requires an adult to attend with each child. Click here for more info. 

Budding artists also have the opportunity to hone their drawing skills! You can create your own illustrations, inspired by the much loved story, There’s a Tiger in the Garden, in this workshop from Outline Arts and Little Folk Tales. Big Screen Treats at ODEON

There’s loads of big screen family action on offer at ODEON Liverpool ONE this half term. There’s Yeti-sized fun in Small Foot and Goosebumps2: Haunted Halloween offers up witches, monsters, ghouls and a talking dummy in its latest spine-chilling instalment.

Comedy legend, Johnny English Strikes Again with a hysterical mission that involves a VR scene that will have you in stitches and if all that wasn’t enough, The House With A Clock In Its Walls sees young Lewis tormented by a strange tick-tock sound and accidentally awakens the dead! Bust moves at The Bluecoat

Get your dancing shoes on this half term in Liverpool as the Bluecoat’s popular Family Weekend returns with activities inspired by Biennial artists, plus there’s a chance to work on your dance moves with sessions from Liverpool Improvisation Collective. Drop in for free, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October between 1pm-4pm. More info here.

Creepy Crafts & more at Waterstones

Waterstones at Liverpool ONE will be a hive of Halloween activity this half term week and you’ve invited to get crafty. Monday is all about mask making (12pm-2pm), Wednesday is a Tom Fletcher creepy craft session (12pm-2pm), there’s a Pumpkin Party on Thursday (12pm-2pm) and you can have your face painted to match your Halloween costume on Friday (12pm-2pm). Sessions are free and there’s no need to book. All ages are welcome and there’s puzzles and prizes to be won too.

When it comes to family friendly dining, you’re spoiled for choice at Liverpool ONE.
