There’s one last supper for Grand Central Hall before the next lockdown
4 years ago
The Dome theatre in the Grand Central Hall Liverpool on Renshaw Street will host one last supper tomorrow evening, before we go into our second national lockdown.
After more than four months of venue closures due to the Coronavirus lockdown in Spring this year, indoor, live music performances were allowed to take place across the UK again from August 1, with socially distanced audiences. This will now end again tomorrow night.
The news was announced by the British government on Saturday October 31st that another full lockdown would start from 12.01am on 5 November until 2 December.
Halyley Smitton, Events Manager for the Grand Central Halls, said:
“From August indoor theatres, music venues and performance spaces safely welcomed audiences back across the country. The Dome at the Grand Central Hall falls into the theatre category and although we have been operating at roughly 25% of capacity, due to health and safety guidelines, we have had some great shows on since we came out of the first national lockdown.
For the good of the nation we now enter national lockdown number 2 and we want to sign off with a great show for all our local patrons. We hope we can open again after December 2nd, but who knows with covid-19 as 2020 has been such an unpredictable year..”
Who is joining the team at the Grand Central Halls on Wed 4th Nov for their last supper?

Doors open at 3pm and the show will start at 4pm and includes afternoon tea and all the above live acts
