This is the moment Jay had a Crossbow fired at…HIS HEAD!

The mesmerising magic show ‘Impossible’ is currently running at the Liverpool Empire and is here until Saturday 13th Feb. It’s not only magic that you will be amazed by in the show, but also the grand stage illusions, technological trickery and more importantly the death-defying stunts.

Obviously on The Guide Liverpool we cover all of the big shows in the city and get involved when we can. By ‘get involved’ we normally mean the odd dancing lesson or gig stage appearance. So when Jay Hynd was asked to play ‘dodge the crossbow’ at the Liverpool Empire it’s safe to say there was a tiny bit of panic in The Guide Liverpool office, never mind in Jay’s face.

Jonathan Goodwin is the escapologist, stuntman in the show and he really did put the word ‘terror’ into terrifying, especially when he pulled out his CROSSBOW.

This is the biggest (and probably only) stunt we have ever had on the programme and you won’t believe your ears when you watch it. And the good thing is you can rewind Jay’s reaction as much as you like 😉
