This is what happened at the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival’s Family Day

The bright, bold and brilliant Liverpool Arab Arts Festival ended on Sunday with LAAF Family Day at Sefton Park Palm House.

Big name international music acts played alongside local and UK-based favourites, including Tarabband, 47SOUL, Yaz Fentazi Trio, Al Awadhel Band and Reham Al-Hakimi.

Over 3000 people celebrated the best in Arab culture, with traditional Middle Eastern dance performances, incredible whirling dervish Mahmoud Pharoan, an Arabian souk, storytelling, children’s crafts and delicious cuisine from the Arab world.
