This is what happened when the Queen made a royal visit to Liverpool

The Queen and Prince Phillip made a royal visit to Liverpool today, arriving into Lime Street by train to cheering crowds.
First off the royals were taken to the new Exhibition Centre Liverpool to open the International Festival of Business 2016.

They then headed to the Town Hall where they waved to the cheering crowds from the balcony.

After a brief lunch they then headed to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to officially open the most modern hospital in Europe.
