This is why you need to get to Southport Pleasureland AFTER DARK!

Southport is the place to be to get your Halloween fix this week. From Pleasureland scares for ghost hunters of all ages, to chilled-out bars to calm your nerves.

Pleasureland Theme Park invites you and your family to join in with their Happy Halloween fun from 11-5pm every day, featuring pumpkin trails, bats, and ghostly gardens plus all the fun of the fair!

If you’re brave enough, stick around for the ‘After Dark’ event, as Master Clown Typhus goes on the prowl and fun flips to fear. There’s an eerie glow cast over the abandoned zoo and the theme park is filled with terrifying clowns, scare houses and zombies. Aimed strictly at over 16’s, Southport Pleasureland invites you die laughing.

Get checked in with your scarecards that allow you to jump on rides for four whole hours (if your nerves will hold out that long) and stop in at the food and drinks stalls for a bit of dutch courage!

Running right through until Halloween itself, ‘After Dark’ is based on the story of Typus, the circus boy who was cruelly disfigured by his father and is now hell bent on frightening the life out of others. With his clown mask covering his scarred face, he roams the park and woodland zoo looking for his next victim, the question is…..will it be you?

Survived the fright of your life? Why not head into the calmer surroundings of Southport’s Lord Street for a well earned hot chocolate or something a bit stronger!
