Liverpool Love Island favourite Gabby Allen will be back home and reliving her romantic TV exploits as Capital Liverpool take over the Bierkeller in Liverpool ONE to create its own version … Liv Island.
This Saturday (5th August) Capital Liverpool, Liverpool’s no.1 hit music station, will host an afternoon of entertainment including a ‘Liv Island’ challenge.
Gabby will be joining the Capital Liverpool team for her first appearance in the city since leaving the villa. This will then be followed by ‘The Big Pub Quiz’ hosted by Capital Liverpool Breakfast presenters; Gemma and Adam, with huge prizes up for grabs including Fusion Festival tickets.
Not forgetting the music, there will be DJ sets from Capital Liverpool DJ’s Liam Hincks and Anton Powers bringing the party direct to the Bierkeller.
Capital Liverpool’s Gemma says “It’s great to be able to put on an event raising money for Zoe’s Place which of course is a charity close to many on Merseyside’s hearts and our chosen charity this year for Global’s Make Some Noise. As a massive Love Island fan myself I am made up Gabby is coming down and I can’t wait to get all the goss from the villa”
The event is in aid of Global’s Make Some Noise which gives a voice to small charities and projects across the UK that struggle to raise awareness, including Zoe’s place in Liverpool.
Allerton-born fitness instructor Gabby, who coupled up with ex-Blazin Squad member Marcel to reach the final of the show, will be the celebrity guest at an afternoon of entertainment.
The event, which runs from 3pm to 7pm and there is a donation for entry.
Liverpool Bierkeller general manager Sean Maguire explained: “Love Island has been so huge this series, everyone’s been talking about it, so we thought it would add to the fun to get Gabby along to join in on Saturday.
“We’re really pleased to have Gabby confirmed for the event because it’s all about raising awareness and money for Zoe’s Place which does such a great job for the children in its care and their families,” added Sean.
“We’ll be raising money all year in partnership with Global’s Make Some Noise, so it’s great to have Gabby involved to get the ball rolling. We don’t know yet whether or not she’ll be bringing Marcel – we’ll just have to wait and see on Saturday!”
Our Mark Byron will be there too with the Guide Liverpool cameras to nab an interview with Gabby and to also host the celeb round of the quiz.
