This new Aigburth Road street art is all about keeping the shopping local!
Liverpool Artist Sean Webster has brought more of his iconic characters to the streets of Liverpool with his latest HUGE funky mural painted on the 8 shutters of The Bakery, Aigburth Road.
Sean completed the mural over Monday and Tuesday of this week as an interactive piece to spread the message of shopping local and coming together as a community and keeping independent shops like the Bakery alive.
The Bakery was established in 1958 by the dad of the current owner. Along with Sean, Alan Gordon, the owner of the Bakery, encourages people to support their independents, be it shops, cafes, artists or small businesses.
This colourful new piece is a fantastic addition to Seanās growing portfolio of murals and has taken social media by storm. The characters in the piece all link to a variety of local businesses that Alan also supports by supplying their goods in his shop.
Sean is taking the art scene by storm and at age 18, says heās āonly just getting startedā. This brand new Sean Webster mural is one for the community, a fantastic way to bring everyone together and has already put a smile on thousands of faces.
