All your what’s on info for this week in Liverpool….and it’s going to be a thriller.

Oh hey November! This week see’s the start of a brand new month, loads of Halloween nights out and of course, the sensational River of Light celebrations. We’re lining up lots of film nights, filling winter warmers, we’re starting on the mulled cider and there’s even a Nativity at the Liverpool Empire! Whether you’re donning a mummy costumer, a bobble hat or a string of tinsel, we’ve got something for you this week.

Monday 29th October

Halloween Film Nights, Sefton Park Palm House

The stunning Palm House becomes a cinema this week showing Halloween films such as Dracula, Gremlins and Hocus Pocus from 8pm. See what’s on here.

2-4-1 Vegan Mondays at Brew Dog

Celebrate World Vegan Day on Monday and tuck into vegan and veggie mains with a delicious 241 offer at Brew Dog, Colquitt Street. Menu here. 

Drag Make-Up Tutorial, OUT Liverpool

Tuesday 30th October

Chelcee Grimes Live, Arts Club

The brilliant Chelcee Grimes takes to the Arts Club stage on Tuesday night, and tipped for amazing things, this is your chance to see a local girl show her home city what she’s got! Tickets here. 

Baltic Market Cinema Night: Hocus Pocus

Harvest Fest at Jacaranda Records, Phase ONE

Wednesday 31st October – Halloween

Pulp Fiction at Death Row Diner, Hope Street

Cult flick, Pulp Fiction takes to the big screen at Hope Street’s Death Row Diner on Wednesday. Plus a special Jack Rabbit Slim’s inspired menu with brand new shakes. Kicks off at 7pm, info here. 

Halloween Spectacular at Liverpool ONE

Liverpool ONE has lined up a whole evening of Halloween fun on Wednesday. No tricks, just treats will see Aracnabot trawl the shopping streets, there’s drumming and street theatre and more. Info here. 

CarnEvil by CIRCO at Loca, Seel Street

Forget everything you know about going to the Circus! Loca and CIRCO come together to present Carnevil on Wednesday night. Expect a complete venue transformation, dancers, acrobatics and Inflatables & Props. Tickets here. 


Thursday 1st November

The Bite Bus is Back, Exchange Flags

Back for it’s last Autumn appearance, the Bite Bus returns to Exchange flags from 12pm on Thursday and will be serving up all manner of lunchtime goodness. Swerve your butty and go check it out. More info here.

Harry Potter Mad House, Baa Bar

Fleet Street’s Baa Bar is hosting a Harry Potter Mad House on Thursday. Catch the golden snitch flying around Concert Square and smash the Harry Potter Quiz at Modo before pulling a Muggle on the dancefloor. More info here.

Friday 2nd November

Homotopia Festival 2018

Liverpool’s amazing LGBT+ arts and culture festival, Homotopia 2018 kicks off on Friday. Expect visual art, performance, film, theatre, talks, readings, cabaret, dance and debate and loads more on this month long programme. Info here. 

Freaky Tainted Love, Camp & Furnace


80’s throwback, Tainted Love returns to Camp & Furnace this Friday with a Thriller Night theme. kicking off at 9pm expect amazing 80’s hits and double denim scares. Tickets here. 

81 Renshaw Street 1st Birthday

There’s a fab line up of live music at 81 Renshaw Street this Friday as our fave record-store/music venue/café/pop up cinema venue celebrates it’s first birthday. Hear the likes of KYAMI, Blue Saint and more. Tickets here. 


Saturday 3rd November

Vintage Kilo Sale, The Shipping Forecast

Nativity The Musical, Liverpool Empire

Sunday 4th November

River of Light 2018

This years River of Light celebrations are set to light up both sides of the Mersey with four very special new additions to check out too. The Elements are 4 light installation art works, inspired by Chinese philosophy and you can see them on The Strand, Mann Island, Pier Head and the Royal Liver Building. Fireworks kick off at 6:30pm and all the info you need is right here.
