We’ve got horse power, frozen margarita’s and live music galore this week in Liverpool.

The summer weather seems to be having a bit of a mare this week but we’re not letting that stop our fun. This week in Liverpool we’re lining up unmissable theatre, culture at Tate, big screen and floating cinema experiences, The Coral perform live at a brand new city centre venue, you can dine in the dark, meet your CBBC faves and get stuck into 241 Aperol too! What’s not to like?

Tuesday 30th July

War Horse, Liverpool Empire

This is the mane event! War Horse, the unforgettable theatrical event based on the beloved novel, will return to play the Liverpool Empire Theatre this week until 17th August. Don’t miss your chance to see this incredible theatre show right here in Liverpool.

Tate Exchange: Sixteen, Tate Liverpool

What’s it like to be sixteen years old now? This multimedia project at Tate Liverpool brings together leading contemporary photographers with more than 170 young people from diverse communities to talk real life. More info here.

Minton Tiles Uncovered, St George’s Hall

St George’s Hall is all set for a big reveal this week. On Thursday the stunning Minton Tiled floor of the great hall go on display until 26th August. See the 30,000 beautifully hand-crafted tiles in all their glory and find out more here.

Cheese & Wine Burgers, It’s All Gravy

The Social Showcase, Mann Island Social

Popworld Rhapsody Weekender

Masquerade, Royal Court Theatre

Following on from an incredible Pride in Liverpool weekend (did it rain?!) Masquerade is an unmissable story of two lads in 1980s’ Liverpool who are finding out who they really are. Set in one of Liverpool’s most famous gay clubs it is a beautiful story about one man’s search for a place to be accepted.

Colours Festival of Princes Park

Buyers Club 241 Aperol Garden Party
