This October, Titanic Hotel Liverpool is launching a pink-themed food and drink menu to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness month which takes place from 1st-31st October, with a percentage of the proceeds going to The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity raises vital funds for The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust, one of the UK’s leading cancer centres which cares for over 30,000 patients every year, with the trust’s new flagship hospital, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Liverpool, having opened in June.
Available in both Stanley’s Bar & Grill and The Rum Bar, which will have its back bar lit pink throughout October, the menu will offer a refreshing Pink Lady mocktail or Rhubarb tonic.
Food options feature the favourite classic prawn cocktail, pan-roasted salmon with sautéed Pink Fir potatoes and sorrel & pink peppercorn sauce, followed by a mouth-watering apple & rhubarb crumble with custard.
The menu has been kept alcohol free keeping in line with its health and well-being focus, and £1 from every item sold from the pink menu will be donated to The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, who provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments for people with cancer.
Based on Pembrook Place in the city’s Knowledge Quarter, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre provides specialist cancer care for people in Cheshire & Merseyside and beyond.
One of their patients is Joanne Dunford from Gatacre, who has recently been given the all clear after having treatment for breast cancer. Joanne was the very first patient to ring the End of Treatment Bell in the new hospital, with her last chemotherapy session taking place on the hospital’s opening day in June.
There's been over £250k raised for the LFC Foundation from Legends charity match refunds

Joanne comments:
“At The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, the team just felt like family. They put me at ease and being in the new hospital was like sitting in your own chair at home! The views are spectacular. When I was coming in for their treatment, to look at the view of our beautiful city, it was amazing and it lifted my spirits. I’m so pleased Titanic Hotel has chosen to help The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and raise awareness of the amazing work it does in Merseyside.”
Titanic Hotel’s Operations Manager, Scott Davies, adds:
“With the importance of health and wellbeing being such a pivotal, current topic, we are honoured to work with The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and highlight the importance of their work. We hope customers enjoy our pink menu whilst raising funds for an incredible and worthy cause”.
