Toxteth Library to inspire entrepreneurs with free workshops

Toxteth Library are hosting a free workshop for local entrepreneurs with Keira O’Mara founder of Mama Designs and Mark Lawler, the Managing Director of Baltic Creative CIC.
As leaders in business they will be providing advice and support to budding entrepreneurs across the City. The workshop on Wednesday 11 April runs from 12.00 – 2.00 pm and forms part of The Merseyside Enterprise Hub which offers local business start-up advice.
In addition the business and intellectual property centre is based on the first floor of Central Library, and can support people looking to start or grow a business. From taking those first steps to successfully launching and developing a business, to finding people and business resources here to help you.
Working with a wide range of partner organisations the centre can offer free access to Business and Intellectual Property databases and publications including market research, company data, business news plus information about intellectual property to protect your ideas, access to business advisers and experts.
Cllr Wendy Simon, Assistant Mayor of Liverpool & Cabinet Member – Culture, Tourism & Events said;
“There are regular workshops and events to help businesses get to grips with all aspects of starting and growing a business including access to chartered patent attorneys and information specialists that can help individuals to think creatively and meet like-minded people, signposting to other business related events and activities within the Liverpool area
