Wirral Radio manager, Adam Siddorn said:

““The Martin Gallier Project is a Wirral based charity who specialise in suicide prevention, so to raise money for such a fantastic charity in Kieran’s name is a very proud moment for all of us at the club”

“We miss our friend very much and it’s wonderful to be able to celebrate his life with some real legends of Tranmere Rovers.”

Former Tranmere men include, Dale Jennings, Andy Robinson, Kenny Irons, Peter Clarke, Clint Hill, John Welsh, Jason Price, Anthony Kay, Alex Hay, Chris Malkin, Danny Harrison, Scott Davies, Joe Murphy, Neil Danns, Ged Brannan, Mark Ellis, Abdulai Baggie, Steve McNulty and many more.

Rovers legendary player Dave Higgins will take charge of the Tranmere Rovers Legends XI whilst TRFC Radio’s Adam Siddorn will take charge of Wirral Radio FC.

Former Tranmere Rovers legend, Dave Higgins said:

“We’re looking forward to raising as much money as we can for the charity. It’ll be fantastic to be back at the game with some of my former teammates, too.”

â€śIt would be great if people come down and gave us their support, even if football isn’t really their thing, a donation could make a real difference to a fantastic local charity.”

The match kicks-off at 2pm at Ashville Football Club, Wallasey Village and is ÂŁ6 for Adults which can be paid on the gate with all proceeds going to charity. You can also buy tickets via Eventbright.

After the match, Ashville will host a fundraising evening in aid of The Martin Gallier Project.
