Two Merseyside mums collaborate on new late night wellness event
1 minute ago
Two Merseyside mums have joined forces to redefine what a night out looks like with the launch of SELFEE, a new concept bringing together wellness, empowerment and high-energy social experiences for women.
Created by Georgia Hayes from Liverpool and Leah Stephens from Wirral, SELFEE offers an alternative to traditional nights out, combining self-development with celebration in a way that feels both meaningful and fun.
At its core, SELFEE is built around a simple but powerful idea. A selfie is more than just a photo. It is a moment of reflection, a pause, and a question. Do you truly love the woman looking back at you?
SELFEE has been created to help women answer yes, confidently.
Born from their own experiences, Georgia and Leah set out to create something they felt was missing. A space where women could connect on a deeper level while still enjoying the energy and atmosphere of a great night out.
SELFEE is where wellness meets main character energy. Where movement meets music. Where mindfulness meets big vibes.
Each event blends empowerment, community, celebration and confidence, creating an environment where women can reconnect with themselves, build confidence, network with intention and celebrate who they are becoming.
Their first event, at BOXPARK Liverpool on Good Friday from 4-8.40pm, will see local powerhouses taking to a panel to talk about life, business and everything in between. Entrepreneur Amy Gwynn, skin specialist Elle Parkinson, also known as Lovelle, and co-founder of Glamify Fashion Hollie Cassidy will all feature on the panel.
Local DJ Millie Manning will take to the decks to keep guests entertained throughout.
Georgia Hayes brings over a decade of experience in the fitness and wellbeing industry, with a background in personal training, yoga, meditation and sport nutrition. Her work focuses on helping women build strength physically and mentally through movement, mindset and self-development.
Leah Stephens spent 14 years as a beauty therapist before retraining as a personal trainer and Reiki Master. Her work combines beauty, strength and holistic wellbeing to help women feel confident from the inside out.
Together, they have created SELFEE as more than just an event, but a space where women can feel powerful and soft, express themselves freely and build confidence without apology.
The experience takes guests on a journey throughout the evening.
The Reset begins from 4pm, setting the tone with music before moving into guided yoga and breathwork. Guests can explore various experiences including Reiki sessions, card readings, confidence capture moments, mirror affirmations and content creation areas, all designed to help them slow down and reconnect.
The Conversation follows, bringing together three powerful women for an unapologetic panel of bold opinions, real stories and honest discussion that moves beyond surface-level motivation.
As the evening unfolds, SELFEE After Dark transforms the space into a high-energy social experience. With a signature SELFEE cocktail, elevated music and effortless networking, the event becomes a celebration-led night out with purpose.
Georgia Hayes, Co-Founder of SELFEE, explained:
“We created SELFEE because we felt like something was missing. Nights out had become repetitive and disconnected, and we wanted to build something that still had energy and excitement but with real depth.”
Leah Stephens, Co-Founder of SELFEE, added:
“Women are ready for something different. People want more intention, more connection and experiences that they can actually take something away from. SELFEE is about creating moments that stay with you long after the event.”
