Antylia are heading to Liverpool for the first time with a solo concert at Hangar 34.
The Band from Ukraine has recently performed with Bono and Ed Sheeran. They defended their country, and today they sing for it around the world.
Beloved hits and new songs, a top-tier show, and great vibes await you at the concert.
The objective of the planned gigs is not just to bring Ukrainian music where it is necessary, and not just to unite the Ukrainian community of Great Britain around the events, but also to raise funds for supporting the AFU.
It’s not the first time ANTYTILA are looking forward to seeing numerous British admirers of the band’s creative work as well. Many of them keep consistently supporting Ukraine for a long time having discovered the band after an English-Ukrainian release of the track “2Step” which was a collab with Ed Sheeran, and a joint performance with Bono, the frontman of the U2 band.
In fact, ANTYTILA have something to say.
From the first day of full-scale invasion, the musicians had left the instruments and come as volunteer soldiers to defend their country on the frontlines. They did their civic and soldier’s duty as paramedics. And now, they’re telling the world the story of their own experience of resistance. They’re sharing their creative works gathering tens of millions of hryvnias for the AFU’s needs. They’re spreading the truth of the Ukrainian war and the Ukrainian people’s heroic struggle against occupants making every effort to remind the World of the war in Ukraine.
‘I would call these gigs “Friends are coming to friends”. Saying those words I do not mean only us, Ukrainians, coming to our homeys with modern Ukrainian music. Today, those we call ‘Friends’ are also the British standing side by side with Ukraine throughout all the period of resisting an unjust aggression – they keep supporting us, donating, and sharing our struggle and values’, says Taras Topolia.
A quality show, a good mood, and the right lyrics will be waiting for you at the gigs as usual.
