Birkenhead writer Cath Holland appeared at the Sisterhood Festival in Bradford last week, to celebrate her poems selected for inclusion in the female-only event’s anthology.  At Bradford Central Library, she performed two poems from the book in front of an audience. The first, ‘Finders Weepers’, explores and explains the search for a new sense of balance after loss and bereavement, while ‘Taking Chances’ concerns itself with the belief in hope and taking chances, even in times of darkness and despair.

Cath is appearing at two events close to home over the next week:

Bank Holiday Monday 26 August – Chester Bandstand 1pm.
Thursday 29 August – Blast! @ The Excelsior, Dale Street Liverpool 7.30pm.
