As FAVOURITE DAYS prepares for its grand debut this Autumn – the Liverpool festival is delighted to reveal a slew of new names who will be performing at its stages across the city.
On 7 November, THE HOWLERS, will headline the Kaz Stockroom. Receiving a raft of rave reviews for their recent Top 30 charting debut ‘What You’ve Got to Lose to Win It All’, the London desert-rockers have solidified their place as one of the UK’s most unique independent bands and carved out a fierce reputation as one of the UK’s most thrilling live acts. Be blown away at Favourite Days 2024.
The following night, ARXX bring their unpredictable and enthralling prowess to town. Since coming together in 2017, the Brighton-based duo have swiftly become one of the most exhilarating bands in the UK’s music scene. Harnessing that energy on their intense and absolute debut ‘Ride Or Die’ – the record has arrived as a fierce summary of their whole ethos and unquenchable passion for music. Bag a ticket and buckle-up at Jacaranda Baltic on 8th November.
Also at the Kaz Stockroom, the Dork and DIY tipped BALANCING ACT will be showing just why they’re clinching “ones to watch” tags right now. Self-describing their music as “Dark, Sexy, and Sick”, the quartet have been branded a contender for “the new generation’s favourite band” by Radio 1’s Jack Saunders. Releasing a brand new EP ‘Tightropes and Limericks’ in time for their set, get-in on the action now at Favourite Days. Support at this show will come from AIMÉE FATALE.
And riding high on the back of breakout successes ‘People Like Us’ (2020) and recent follow-up album ‘Vandals’, CALLUM BEATTIE will headline a show at the cosy Arts Club Loft. Appearing on 10th November, he will be airing the unrepentant and ruthlessly honest songs of his acclaimed new record to Liverpool audiences.
In news elsewhere, both WAX HEAD and REQUIEM BLUES add their names to a stacked array of talent joining YOBS at their headline show, whereas PET SNAKE are confirmed to support STRFKR.
