Liverpool will become the beating heart of underground music as Frogfest 2025 takes over The Baltic Triangle’s District on Saturday 16th August. The exciting new all-day festival brings you 12 hours of the best alternative live bands from across Europe, plus local Liverpool talent.

Presented by Moonfrog, the exciting new concept delivers an extraordinary lineup of artists from Belgium, France, Belarus, and Italy, sharing the stage with some of the most exciting emerging alternative acts from the North West. It’s a melting pot of styles, sounds, and scenes — all united under one roof for a full day and night of unforgettable live music.

Frogfest stays true to the original Moonfrog vision: to bridge Liverpool’s thriving alternative community with the most exciting corners of the European underground. This groundbreaking event promises to push that mission even further, blending coldwave, post-punk, synth-driven electronica and more into one electrifying celebration.

On the bill for 2025 are Ultra Sunn, Dlina Volny, Sad Madona, Horror Vacui, V, Liminal Project, Material Goods, Empty Page, Thirst, and Grimm Sister — a mix of established underground favourites and fresh new voices destined to make an impact. With nothing else quite like this in Liverpool, it fills a gap in the local music scene.
