On Friday 18th August we welcome Laura Groves through our doors, a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter breaking down the barriers of traditional songwriting with experimental synthesised sounds, textural electronic layering, and a passion for home recording. The exploration of themes surrounding inner worlds, healing, connection, imagined environments and real-life surroundings are common throughout her back-catalogue, a decade long discography culminating in Laura’s first LP, Radio Red (released via Bella Union on 11th August – just in time for the gig!), the lead single, Sky At Night, out now. Maija Sofia supports.
