Beer and cider lovers in the North West should check their diaries and book ahead if they want a truly unique drinking experience from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 February.

Tickets for Liverpool Beer Festival, held in the Lutyens Crypt in Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, have already sold out for afternoon sessions on Friday and Saturday. But don’t worry – evening sessions are still available, as well as multi-day celebration packages for the whole event.

There’s no entrance fee for CAMRA members, simply book your ticket ahead of time and buy your glass, programme and (refundable) drinks tokens.

This year the festival will host the Champion Winter Beer of Britain competition so, amongst the 200 beers and ciders on offer, festival visitors will also have a chance to try some of the very best cask beers that the UK has to offer, with the 52 shortlisted beers also available at the festival.
