The inaugural event, hosted at the Murphy’s Gin Distillery, marked this significant moment in celebrating European unity and cultural diversity within the vibrant city of Liverpool.

The festival activities in May brought the city’s diverse communities together in celebration at Mary Seacole House for the “Black Europeans” event and was packed with activities such as a German “Stammtisch”, the History Ride through “Little Italy” and a series of European Film Screenings.

All across June, the Liverpool European Festival will provide a dynamic platform for European organisations and communities residing in the Liverpool City Region to showcase their rich heritage, traditions, and contributions to the local tapestry.

With a packed programme of community-driven events, including the Dante Garden Party, the German Summer Fest and Merseyside Polonia’s Birthday Party, the festival seeks to foster greater understanding, collaboration, and appreciation among residents and visitors alike.
