The warped electronic funk and multi instrumentalist extraordinaire LoneLady kicks off 2022 with a big Saturday night on 15 January.
Her brand new single (There Is) No Logic has just had it’s first play on Mary Anne Hobbs 6 Music show and displays Lonelady aka Julie Campbell’s talent for unruly chopped up vocal samples over machine-funk rhythms.
On her second album, 2015’s Hinterland The Quietus said: “vibrant and urgent combination of genealogy and vision – and it is this that truly makes it a masterpiece.”
