Invisible Wind Factory

Following its acclaimed 2025 debut, Outer Waves Festival returns to Liverpool on May 23–24, 2026, taking place across Invisible Wind Factory and Make North Docks. Created to connect Liverpool to the global experimental scene, the festival brings together boundary-pushing artists from around the world for a weekend of adventurous sound, performance, and art.

The 2026 programme so far features OXN (featuring Radie Peat of Lankum), Dame Area, Jarboe & Thor Harris (Swans), Lord Spikeheart, Waq Waq Kingdom, Carmel Smickersgill, GY!PA, Mohammad Syfkhan, a.P.A.t.T., Luce Mawdsley, HAAL, Mincemeat, Unstoppable Sweeties Show & Domestic Partners, with more to be announced in the coming months.

Beyond the live performances, Outer Waves 2026 expands with workshops, panel discussions, artist commissions, and installations, with further details to follow. As night falls, the celebration continues with after-parties at Quarry featuring guest DJs, collaborations, and immersive late-night experiences.
