One of the UK’s top swing orchestras is touring around England this April, just off the back of its record breaking Christmas tour. “Songs from the Golden Age of Swing” will feature recreations of swing favourites from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Nat ‘King’ Cole and Ella Fitzgerald, performed by the 30-piece Down for the Count Orchestra – a big band which is one of the few UK swing ensembles to perform with a string section.
Lydia Bell and Marvin Muoneké have been confirmed as the vocalists for the eagerly anticipated event.
