The family workshop is designed for both accompanying adults and their young people to be active participants. Suitable for Key Stage 3 – 5, ages 10 and above. Young People must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over)

Led by War Horse puppeteer alumnus, Lucas Button, this workshop is designed to give participants a hands-on understanding of how to create characters through puppetry and physicality. The workshop will give you a taste of the devising process through which Joey and the other horses of the show are brought to life, and how the puppeteers respond to both one another and other actors on stage to conjure the animals at the heart of War Horse.
