Albert Dock becomes host to one of Liverpool’s most celebrated independent design retailers, Utility, as it launches a pop-up shop at the iconic location this weekend.
As part of the strategic reinvention of the retail and leisure offer of Albert Dock, the Utility store – located in Unit 8 The Colonnades – will stock a variety of contemporary merchandise to appeal to design aficionados and opens on 24th June, as the Waterfront celebrates The International Mersey River Festival this weekend.
Simon Moscow of Aberdeen Asset Management said about the deal,
“We announced in March that it is our intention to bring some of the most iconic Liverpool brands to Albert Dock as we reinvent the retail and leisure offer. Utility is a celebrated, independent retailer who has been successful in the city for over 16 years. As we evolve the offer we are very happy to welcome them to this pop up experience and we look forward to working with the team.”
