Vegan Lovers Rejoice: ItalFresh Announces Winter Residency at the Baltic Triangle
7 years ago

ItalFresh has announced a new winter residency at District, in the heart of The Baltic Triangle serving up delicious vegan food, six days a week!
Launching today, 25th October, ItalFresh will move its beloved food truck favourites indoors to the warm and cosy surroundings of District – 61 Jordan Street.
The pop-up canteen will be offering ItalFresh plant-based favourites such as Jerk Portobello (“smoothly hot, satisfyingly savoury” – The Guardian) or sweet potato Kingston fries with Jerk Mango sauce (“Life changing” – Independent Liverpool) for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday.

ItalFresh creator, Poppy Huyton, said: “ItalFresh is breaking the myth that Caribbean food is all about Summer with our brand new winter menu. Featuring hearty and warming chunky soups, curries to blow away the cobwebs and pumpkin pie cheesecake for pudding, we’re showing Liverpool that Ital cooking is for life, not just for Summer!”
In the Spring of 2016, less than 6 months after starting out with a home-based supper club, ItalFresh creators, Poppy and Dan were offered a static food truck in the heart of the Baltic Triangle. The ItalFresh Supper Club soon attracted the attention of the vegan, foodie and creative communities of Liverpool and with candle-it table service, seasonal small plates and a fully stocked bar during the evening, what’s not to like?!

No time to sit down for a leisurely lunch? No problem. ItalFresh are serving up sumptuous takeaway lunches between 12-3pm Tuesday to Friday. How about an early evening, post-work catch up over the small plates menu served between 5-9pm Tuesday to Saturday’s instead?
