Verdant on Allerton Road closes its doors to make way for Bloom Bar & Bistro
5 years ago
Verdant has closed its doors and will remain closed until Friday 27 September
Passers-by may have noticed that Verdant, Allerton Road, has closed its doors.
The restaurant, which was known for its staple flower ceiling, and huge crushed velvet chair, permanently closed on Sunday 22 September.
The restaurant will reopen on Friday 27 September as Bloom Bar & Bistro.
The venue is undergoing a facelift, with new owners Charlotte and Vicky McGregor refreshing the restaurant to give it an airy, light, floral feel.
Bloom Bar & Bistro will have even more photo opportunities than before, with the floral ceiling still remaining as an Instagrammable feature.
The mother and daughter duo will also be adding more floral touches, beautiful booth seating and a delicious new menu that includes small plates and larger dishes, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian options so there is something for everyone.
Co-owner and General Manager, Charlotte McGregor, said: âSince taking over Verdant in May, weâve been so excited about revamping the interior to put our own stamp on the venue and really make it our own.
âWeâre still keeping some elements of Verdant but weâll be making it lighter and brighter and bringing out that floral theme – hence our new name, Bloom Bar & Bistro!
