VideOdyssey to celebrate 50 years of Jaws with special film tribute night

Liverpool’s cult film venue VideOdyssey is hosting a huge JAWS 50th Anniversary Celebration later this month.

VideOdyssey is set to make waves later this month with a special JAWS 50th Anniversary Celebration — an immersive tribute to the film that defined a genre and reshaped modern cinema. The one-night-only event takes place on Saturday 29 November at VideOdyssey, Toxteth TV, inviting film fans to dive into an evening of nostalgia, creativity, and shark-sized fun. 

In partnership with Liverpool Noise and Purple Revolver, the celebration will honour Steven Spielberg’s iconic 1975 thriller with a packed programme of activities, including live art, rare memorabilia, a fan quiz and more. 

Tickets are priced at £8, with a discounted £6 rate available for L8 residents, students, and those currently unwaged — ensuring the celebration remains accessible to the community that surrounds the venue. 

Housed within Toxteth TV Studios, VideOdyssey has cemented itself as one of Liverpool’s most distinctive creative hubs, famed for its retro arcade, vintage video rentals, and unwavering love for classic cinema.
