Vue Southport unveils Cinema’s refurb with new Ultra Lux seating

Movie lovers in Southport are in for a cinematic treat following the completion of a major refurbishment at Vue Southport.

Vue Cinema at Ocean Plaza Southport has unveiled exciting new seating options, a refreshed retail area, and upgraded technology, promising an even better big screen experience.

All screens have brand new seating throughout. Customers have the choice of two seating options, firstly – The Lux, a fully reclining seat, has landed at Vue Southport.  

And introducing a new world of comfort to customers of Southport  is Vue’s new, most luxurious set yet – The Ultra Lux, enabling Southport customers to see upcoming films like September 5, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, and Captain America: Brave New World on the big screen in luxurious comfort. 

The Ultra Lux features ample space with a  table, a compartment to place your belongings and the back and leg rest of the seat can recline independently to enable customers to get into their preferred comfortable position to enjoy the big screen experience.  

The refurbishment was undertaken in phases to enable Vue, which is located inside the Ocean Plaza leisure complex, to remain open throughout and minimise any disruption to customers. The venue has more than 650 seats across its eight screens which comprise a mix of Lux and Ultra Lux seating
