RLB360 has fast become a Liverpool must-do, here’s why!
Landmarks don’t come much more iconic than our own Royal Liver Building – it’s the unmistakable symbol of the city that’s known all around the world.
Thousands of us walk or drive past it every day, but the famous building you see from the Strand is only one part of the incredible story behind this Liverpool legend.
To get the full picture – and the most amazing of all bird’s eye views – you really need to go inside and discover the RLB360 Experience.
Never been on the tour before? Here are 5 reasons why you really need to visit RLB360 …
It’s a chance to experience the Liver Building like never before
It’s like going up the Empire State in New York or Paris’s Eiffel Tower, you never really know just how stunning this building is until you’re actually inside it and, even better, standing outside on the very top next to Liver Birds Bella and Bertie. This isn’t just an attraction for visitors to the city, it’s a real must-do for Scousers absolutely loving our own city.
Those views from top are unbelievable
The finale of the RLB360 Experience is getting to the 15th floor and out on the balcony. It’s called 360 for a reason, you get to walk around the platform and see the city from every angle, and the panoramic views across the waterfront and sweeping around over all those familiar sights in the city centre and beyond are just breathtaking. If there’s a better selfie spot anywhere in Liverpool then we haven’t found it yet!
You’ll walk in the footsteps of a big screen superhero
The Liver Building isn’t only famous as one of the Three Graces and the centerpiece of Liverpool’s gorgeous waterfront, it’s familiar to millions of Batman fans too because the 15th floor balcony is where everyone’s favourite caped superhero stood when they filmed the latest film here. Take the RLB360 Experience and you’ll get to stand on the same place as Robert Pattinson and recreate a bit of movie magic.
See those enormous clocks – from the inside!
We’ve all checked out the time on those huge clocks, but when you reach the 14th floor of the Liver Building you can actually see them from the inside. Learn more about the Great George Liver Clocks and stand behind the clock faces to see their original mechanism.
You’ll find out fascinating facts and have some really proud goosebump moments
Even the most clued-up born and bred Scousers never really stop learning about Liverpool and its history. The RLB360 tour starts off in the lower ground floor Visitor Centre where you can see pieces of the building’s history and then on the 14th floor you’ll get to see it all brought to life in an insightful immersive audio visual experience revealing 100 years of backstory from the building’s perspective. The lights, sounds, digital effects and 4D are fantastic and take you on an unforgettable journey through Liverpool’s past that’ll definitely give you goosebumps of pride.
