Calendar Girls

The original Calendar Girls

After a sneak peak at three brand new songs, performed live by the new cast members, Gary and Tim joined in a Q&A session before tucking into some freshly home made Victoria sponge, in true WI tradition. Meeting the original Calendar Girls, in their home town and hearing how they worked together to support a good friend through losing her husband, was very moving. The new cast have taken their roles to heart and feel a lot of pride in being able to re-tell the story in a brand new way. Tim and Gary have worked closely with the Calendar Girls to ensure the essence of the story remains firmly at its core, while being able to add new songs and a whole new set to bring it to life once more.
