Watch as Leanne takes you on one of the Mersey Ferry Evening Cruises

There’s plenty of fun to be had this summer with a host of different parties aboard the Mersey Ferries Evening Cruises.

Maybe the iconic song should be changed from Ferry ‘Cross the Mersey to Party ‘Cross the Mersey – because that’s what you’ll be doing if you book your place on one of Mersey Ferries’ fabulous, famous Evening Cruises.

You’re promised amazing sunsets, live music, entertainment and lots of fun and, more than anything, a night you’ll probably never, ever forget!

The Evening Cruises are running right the way through summer, from now until the end of October.

And you can guarantee that whatever kind of music you like, whatever type of entertainment floats your boat, there’ll be something that seems like it’s made just for you.

There’s a Queen Evening Cruise with rock band Dr Strangelove who capture the sound and essence of one of the most famous music groups with all the musicianship and live energy the original band was famed for; a Fleetwood Mac Tribute Night with Fleetwood ‘Mad’ delivering all the ‘Big Love’ and performing hits like ‘Albatross’, ‘Everywhere’, ‘Landslide’ and more, and even a FunnyBoyz Drag Queen Cruise with the ultimate in drag cabaret – comedy, live music and all those cheesy tunes.

If Abba’s your thing, then you’ll love the GIMME! GIMME! GIMME! ABBA on the Mersey cruise, and if you’re a ‘70s, ‘80s or ‘90s child – or even if you’re not – then there’s a night dedicated to each of those amazing decades that’ll be right down your street.

And so the list goes on, with A Night at the Movies, The Beatles Tribute Cruises, an Emo and Pop Punk Cruise, a Country Night Cruise, and so many more.

You can set off on an Evening Cruise from Seacombe Ferry at 7.30pm, and Liverpool’s Gerry Marsden Terminal at 7.45pm.

Each cruise is about two and a half hours long, and from the moment you step on board you’re guaranteed non-stop fun listening to live music, DJs, and the best tribute bands.

There’s a fully-licensed bar on board so snacks are available throughout the night and the drinks can flow just like the Mersey to make it the best night ever, whether you’re there with just you and your mates, you’re celebrating a special occasion with the family, or you’re on a works’ night out (and what a belter that would be!).

And as well as the music and madness, you can enjoy the calm and peace of the water and the world-famous waterfront views.

Mersey Ferries have organised a whole season of entertainment for 18 and overs only, so all you need to do is get your tickets and get on board.

Tickets cost £24 per person or £21 for groups of 20 people or more, and they’re available online via the website here.

So what are you waiting for? Sail into an incredible evening with Mersey Ferries’ Evening Cruises.
