Celebrity chefs don’t come any more famous than Gordon Ramsay – according to Google, he’s the number one in the world!
Even though he’s known for super-fine dining, now Liverpool diners can enjoy the star quality, and some incredible food, but without the Michelin star prices.
His Bread Street Kitchen & Bar in Liverpool ONE opened earlier this year and it’s already won plenty of fans for its all-day menu and one must-try signature dish in particular.
Bread Street Kitchen’s beef wellington is an absolute stand-out masterpiece, so much so that the sharing classic has been given the lead on its own menu.
The Beef Wellington Experience has been created for 2-6 people, it starts with a Royale vodka cocktail and just keeps on getting better. After a choice of starters, including tamarind spiced chicken wings and spicy tuna tartare, you get the main event – gorgeous beef wrapped in flaky pastry and served with truffle mash.
And if that wasn’t enough, the finale is a dessert platter so you don’t even have to narrow down the options on treats, you can have a little of everything.
It’s £75 per person, which includes two cocktails, so it’s an amazing way to make a special celebration even more memorable.
Bread Street Kitchen delivers all the excellence you’d expect from a chef with Gordon Ramsay’s reputation when it comes to Sunday roasts too.
There’s the speciality 35-day dry-aged sirloin of rare breed beef, or opt for corn-fed chicken or roast pork belly.
Whichever one you go for, the roasts come with all the trimmings, so expect crispy Yorkshire puds, roast potatoes and seasonal veg, smothered with delicious homemade gravy.
If you want to sample some of Ramsay’s creative genius, and get a really good deal at the same time, then the set lunch is perfect.
The seasonal menu gives you a chance to try some of Bread Street Kitchen’s most popular dishes and at £19 for two courses, or £23 for three, it’s great value.
Mains include a fresh take on an all-time favourite, beer battered haddock, served with mushy peas and Koffmann’s fries; a Bread Street Kitchen burger topped with Monterey Jack cheese and sriracha mayo, or a super-healthy superfood salad.
There are two delicious indulgent desserts to round things off – sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream, or a rich chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream – or you can keep it simple and tasty by taking your pick from a selection of ice creams and sorbets.
And don’t forget that kids get the best deal of all at Bread Street Kitchen because they can eat free, all day, every day.
The restaurant has a dedicated Ramsay Kids menu so little diners can be spoilt for choice with freshly-made meals they’ll love like meatballs and pasta, mac and cheese, and sausages and mash. They’ll also get a soft drink free – and you can add on a mini version of one of the fabulous desserts if they’ve still got any room left!
