Watch as we take you inside Baltic Triangle’s underground urban farm, Greens for Good
4 years ago
Greens For Good By Farm Urban is a vertical farm and eco-friendly project based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
Using cutting-edge hydroponic technologies, the team grow their greens in space-saving vertical towers in the heart of Liverpool.
Greens For Good is a campaign/project that aims to encourage people across Liverpool City Region to eat healthier, and shop healthier too. The produce that is grown at Greens For Good is grown for taste, not transport: living leaves, delivered by bicycle, in reusable and compostable packaging.
Greens For Good, like many other businesses, has had to adapt and change to survive throughout the pandemic, so has launched a subscription service. You can order a box of fresh greens on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis and it will be delivered to you.
When your produce arrives you can keep your living leaves in a sunny spot and pick them fresh to bring your lunches to life and enjoy healthy, wholesome food. The delivery area is currently within a 4-mile radius of the farm location in the Baltic Triangle.
Alongside its subscription service, Greens For Good has also been working with local charities such as The Brain Charity & The Whitechapel Centre and has been donating boxes of its greens for people to enjoy. In 2021, Greens For Good will continue to work towards encouraging people to be more sustainable and will continue to develop its subscription service.
