Alright so the first game of the season didn’t go exactly to plan for some, but the atmosphere at Bierkeller was top class regardless.
You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to watching live sport at Bierkeller Entertainment Complex, Thomas Steers Way, with three bars all under one roof, Around the World, Shooters Sports Bar and the Bierkeller itself. The complex boasts the city’s biggest non-cinema HD LED TV, countless big screen tv’s, an electric atmosphere, live entertainment and waitress service. Bierkeller is as close to being on the pitch as you can get without a decent right foot.
It’s not just about footy either. The boxing match of the millennium is about to happen and Liverpool fight fans have a chance to watch it all on the big screen. Shooters Sports Bar is screening the fight between all-time great boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and UFC’s biggest, brashest star Conor McGregor, on Saturday 26th August. As the Las Vegas Strip plays host to the eagerly-anticipated fight, the action won’t take place until the early hours of the Sunday morning, so why not make a night of it and book your VIP seat at Shooters Sports Bar?
For £20 a head, boxing fans will be able to see every jab as McGregor goes head to head with legend Mayweather and enjoy guaranteed entry, VIP seating, drinks and food when the two finally stop swapping insults and exchange punches instead. Click here to secure your seat now.
Manager of Bierkeller Complex, Sean Maguire got to meet McGregor on his last visit to the city (his open-shirt appearance at The Grand National being the most memorable) and reckons the die-hard fans here in Liverpool will make the fight night one to remember, he said: “It’ll be the kind of night which will be fantastic to be a part of and the atmosphere’s going to be amazing. It’s made for a great night and a great show by two of the biggest sportsmen in the world. And the next day Liverpool play Arsenal and it’s a Bank Holiday so we’ve got one enormous weekend planned!”
With 5 pool tables (free to play til 5pm), a huge bar, tasty and affordable food and drink packages and a HD TV screen at every eye level, why would you watch sport anywhere else? Shooters Sports Bar, Liverpool One is open Monday to Friday 12pm til late, and weekends 11am til late, so you don’t miss a goal, a try or a KO.
Whatever your sport, footy, rugby, wrestling, boxing, basket ball, you name it, it’s likely to be on the bill at Shooters Sports Bar at Bierkeller throughout the season. Head to www.shootersportsbar.co.uk for full daily listings or follow @LVPLBierkeller on Twitter for what’s on updates.
