Watch for all the info you need on Folk Festival on the Dock

Not long to go until the Albert Dock bring us a brand new event for August Bank Holiday weekend. Folk Festival on the Dock will bring together the city’s rich music and maritime heritage in an exuberant celebration of live acoustic folk, sea shanty and roots music from August 26-29th.
We spoke to Marketing Manager Clare Rawlinson about what we can expect – watch the interview above.
Musicians like The Christians, Lost Brothers, Henry Priestman, Gilmore & Roberts, Alasdair Roberts Trio, Tom Kitching, John Loomes, Merry Hell, Winter Wilson, ex-Bellowhead member Benji Kirkpatrick, and Sam Winston will take to the stage with lots of other family fun Dockside too.
Folk Festival on the Dock is a free event, with ticketed elements to the programme.

The celebrated Liverpool Shanty Festival will also form part of the event and will showcase international shanty artists. The event will also include a unique choral event on Sunday, August 28, 2016, with a number of established choirs performing alongside a newly formed Albert Dock Community Choir, celebrating Liverpool’s heritage.
