Watch: Fusion Presents brings indie rock n’ roll to Sefton Park
5 years ago
Thousands packed into the Sefton Park festival site to see a stellar line up of homegrown and international indie and rock n’roll bands and artists perform live.
Fusion Presents made one hell of a debut in Liverpool on Friday. Gates to the festival opened mid afternoon and within just an hour the main stage barriers were a distant sight. With an incredible line up including Frans Ferdinand, Jake Bugg, Liverpool’s own Echo & The Bunnymen and Circa Waves, fans flooded in right up until headline act Kings of Leon rocked the stage.
Fusion Presents also set the stage for up and coming artists such as The Clockworks. Flying in from Ireland this four piece indie band, dubbed ‘The Street with guitars’ opened the festival to an amazing reception from the Scouse crowds. We catch up with them to find out how their first ever Liverpool gig went down and what we can expect from them before the end of 2019.
Fusion Presents is the first of three days and nights of music at the Sefton Park site. The line-up for Saturday includes Rudimental, Dizzee Rascal, John Newman, Jonas Blue and Liverpool’s very own Anton Powers. Sunday’s line-up features the mighty Little Mix, Anne-Marie, Clean Bandit, Mabel and more.
The Fusion Festival site is fully equipped with food and drink outlets, cash machines, fairground rides, VIP section and loads more, making this an epic day out for music lovers of all ages.Ā Head this way to check out our full event guide, box office times and more.
