Watch: We try out Rosa’s Thai Café in London ahead of its Albert Dock opening

Watch above as our camera’s take you to Carnaby Street and Rosa’s Thai Café.

Born in the East, raised in the East End, Rosa’s Thai Café is the home of authentic, homecooked Thai Food and the official countdown is on as the Royal Albert Dock welcomes its newest eatery this month.

Throwing open its doors on 25th February 2019, Rosa’s Thai Café offers a modern Thai menu with ingredients sourced from Thailand and will be a brilliant new addition to the variety of different cuisines on offer at the dock. With an informal dining feel, Rosa’s Thai Café serves up everything from curries to stir fries, salads, rice and noodles. But the jewel in this eastern crown is most definitely in the spring rolls.

Watch above as our Jay heads to London’s bohemian Carnaby Street to meet owner and Chef Saiphin Moore and to sample the menu.

Jay said: “If you think you’ve tasted the best spring rolls, they’ll have nothing on Rosa’s ones! Fresh, handmade with authentic ingredients, these are going to be a huge hit!

“We had such a great day with Saiphin and the team on Carnaby Street and we can’t wait to see the new restaurant open on the dock. We were treated to ice tea cocktails, an array of traditional thai food that just lit up the table with its vibrant colours, aromas and of course taste.

“We can’t wait for you guys to see and experience Rosa’s Thai Café in Liverpool later this month.”

Guests at the new Liverpool restaurant can expect fragrant favourites such as ‘Salmon red curry’ through to ‘Stir-fried aubergine with chilli and basil’, and Rosa’s famous ‘Pad Thai’ signature. For those with room for dessert there’s also a small selection of traditional and refreshing sweets such as ‘Mango & sticky rice’ and ‘Coconut cream ice cream’.

More: The Albert Dock Makers Market returns.

The new Albert Dock restaurant will eat up to 88 diners and will feature an open theatre style kitchen and a mezzanine level perfect for hosting private parties.
