Knowsley Safari

Knowsley Safari has planned the mother of all Mother’s Days this year, with one adult per car going free with a full paying child, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 March 2025 – what a great way to celebrate! And it’s extra special for children too, with the opportunity for young ones to get crafty, creating Mother’s Day cards out of plantable seed paper, which they can take home to grow their own flowers.

While at the Safari, visitors can see and learn about many animal species who organically help with biodiversity, including resident Andean Bears, Bahia and Chui, who disperse seeds in their droppings, which can grow into the same species of plant they’ve already eaten! And birds of prey who eat insects, which can prevent the spread of disease and loss of agricultural crops, among many, many other species.

Aurelia will offer its full permanent jewellery service at the pop up and visitors will have the option to choose between over 50 chain options and more than 200 charms to create their own unique custom bracelets, necklaces, anklets, rings and hand chains.

Alongside the permanent jewellery offering, the brand will also showcase a curated collection of non-permanent, tarnish-free earrings and rings as well as clasped jewellery ensuring there is something for everyone across the weekend.

The pop up will run from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday across Mother’s Day weekend for visitors to pop by and treat their mum or a loved one to a custom piece of jewellery or pick a piece for them to cherish themselves. On the day itself, guests can opt for a laid-back start with the Mother’s Day Breakfast, priced at £27.50 per person. Served from 9:30am, diners can enjoy a leisurely three-course breakfast kicking off with a glass of buck’s fizz, maple granola, and a choice of main dishes from halloumi & avocado on sourdough to a classic full English, followed by freshly brewed coffee and tea and a selection of mini pastries.

Later in the day, a special three-course lunch will be served for £47 per person, available from 12:30pm to 5pm. The Art School

Mother’s Day is one of the most important dates on the culinary calendar and for Sunday 30 March The Art School have curated a special luncheon to celebrate in Liverpool.

Chef Patron Paul Askew and his team have created a wonderful menu over two sittings, inspired by the forthcoming spring season and the wonderful produce available across the region, sourced from local independent farms, artisans and cultivators.  There is also a junior menu for 12s and under so all family members are very much welcome to experience The Art School for Mother’s Day to toast and dine with their loved ones.

The 2 Mother’s Day Sunday shows sold out when launched last year. With 2 more shows added on the day before Mother’s Day, Saturday 29 March, they then sold out in 2 hours.
