Liverpool is preparing a welcome fit for a Prince and Princess, as one of the USA’s most popular cruise lines heads to the city on her first ever trip to the British Isles.
Disney Magic is making two visits to Liverpool in the forthcoming weeks. Her inaugural visit was today Friday 27 May with the distinctive vessel sail in to the Liverpool Cruise Terminal in the early hours of the morning with the ship blowing her special whistle on departure.
The main celebrations will take place on her second visit to Liverpool on Sunday 12 June when the Pier Head will come alive with music and colour in a free event for all the family.
The ship is set to arrive at 8am, and the event begins at midday and runs to 6pm. There will be an outdoor cinema which throughout the day will show Frozen (sing-a-long), Finding Nemo, Toy Story and Mary Poppins in full.
