We’re at Exhibition Centre for the second annual Comic Con Liverpool.

Comic Con Liverpool 2019 has officially landed along with a whole host of special guests, merchandise stalls, exciting exhibits, cosplay competitions and more!

The Guide Liverpool is on location with some swanky new sofas as we bring all the Comic Con Liverpool action and interviews, as it happens. Keep it locked to this rolling feed as we chat with Only Fool’s Boycie, actor John Challis, Superman, Dean Cain is heading our way and all the amazing cosplay costumes, parades as they happen.

We know him as the hilarious Boycie from Only Fools & Horses, actor John Challis joins us on the sofas for a chat about his love of the Beatles, despite telling John Lennon he preferred The Rolling Stones! John is at Exhibition Centre all weekend signing copies of his books and talking about his all-time favourite story lines from Only Fools and more.

Lois & Clarke: The Adventures of Superman actor Dean Cain is in town for Comic Con Liverpool this weekend and he’s keen to explore his namesake at the Baltic Triangle. Watch as he chats to our Jay about his 90’s superhero fame, being reunited with Lois, Terri Hatcher and that famous scouse band he loves.

From Heroes to Dark Knight and Dr Who, American actor Eric Roberts has been part of comic con culture his whole career. Attending Comic Con Liverpool for the entire weekend, Eric sat down with our Kate for a natter about his incredible career, why he loves Con and the brand new Dr Who.

So who joined us for day one of Comic Con Liverpool today? We met some fabulous guests, cooed over cute dogs, bought a whole load of merchandise, revelled at the phenomenal cosplay and we can’t wait to get back into the thick of it tomorrow!
