West End hit Annie is coming back to Liverpool Empire in 2026

The smash-hit West End production of Annie will return to Liverpool Empire Theatre in September 2026, joining a stellar line-up that also includes Mary Poppins, Six, Legally Blonde, Miss Saigon and Mean Girls.

Set in 1930s New York, the classic musical follows young Annie who dreams of a brighter future while living under the watchful eye of Miss Hannigan at the orphanage.

Her fortunes change when she’s chosen to spend Christmas with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, but Miss Hannigan has other plans to ruin her search for family and happiness.

Packed with unforgettable songs like It’s The Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street, I Don’t Need Anything But You and the show-stopping Tomorrow, Annie has been delighting audiences for generations and promises a feel-good night out for all ages.
