What gigs are on in Liverpool during November?

October was another fantastic month of live music in the region, with local talent and global superstars alike tearing up the scene. November is no different as we have a decent mix once more, perhaps even having some of local talent leaning into the superstar category. Check out our top must go gigs this November.

The Prodigy, SPACE, Echo Arena – 8th November

We’re starting things off this month with a mad one! Known as one of the craziest bands in the world, both on record and especially live, The Prodigy come to our largest venue to wreak havoc on the biggest stage possible. They’re touring in support of their latest album, No Tourists, and are still the fire starters that we know and love.

Grab your tickets here to be transported to out of space.

MiC Lowry, Arts Club – 10th November

One of the local bands that have made the transition and are well on their way to becoming superstars, MiC Lowry return for a hometown show as part of their latest tour – Made In The 90s. The band is constantly evolving, whether it is through local sessions at the likes of Parr Street Studios, or on the world stage supporting none other than Justin Beiber. Their last tour showed just how much they have risen to the next level and we can’t wait to see what 2019 holds for our fave vocal harmony superstars.

Get your tickets before they’re gone.

Tea Street Band, District – 15th November

Are you even a Scouser if you don’t know Tea Street Band? The lads announced earlier this year that their second album ‘Frequency’ is due for release on 9th November and to celebrate they are playing two Liverpool dates, one of which has already sold out, before heading back out on the road. Check out one of the new tracks, ‘Only Love’ above.

Get your tickets now!

One Night In Heaven with Heather Small, Circo – 17th November

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEoxGJ79PMs

Some of you may remember Heather Small taking Liverpool Pride by the scruff of the neck back in 2014. Her immense voice took over the Liverpool Docklands and we’re excited to say that it will be doing the same again but in a more intimate setting. The voice of The M People will be performing hits such as Moving On Up and of course, One Night In Heaven, for what will be a tiny crowd by her standards.

This will be a definite sell out, so grab your tickets to heaven now.

Jonny Marr, O2 Academy – 17th November

Another show on this month’s list that is teetering on the brink of selling out, Jonny Marr comes to Liverpool in what is a rare, intimate show. The Smiths guitarist is an icon in his own right and is known for a unique playing style that he has pioneered. Marr is an artist that has influenced the UK music scene hugely and this gig is a must see this November.

It’s your chance to see a British music legend, up close and personal, so grab what’s left of the tickets now.

Mogwai, Olympia – 22nd November

We always like to throw in something a little different, for you real music nerds out there – and this is it for November. Mogwai occupy a niche, neigh – rule a niche that has seen them become the go-to band for the BBC and other filmmakers. They soundtrack documentaries, series and films as their day job and their studio albums, as well as live shows, have gained them a loyal following. They showcase their incredible soundscapes and visuals that will have you overwhelmed with awe in our city this November. Tickets are available here.

Radio City Live, Echo Arena – 23rd November

We love it when Radio City put on their festival style shows. It’s our chance to catch some of the biggest names in pop performing live in our city. This month we are treated to the likes of Jax Jones, Jess Glynne and Rita Ora amongst many others. Not only do you get these, you’ll also get the chance to see George Ezra, who’s show earlier in the month has already sold out.

You simply can’t miss this one so get your tickets now.

Heaven 17, O2 Academy – 24th November

In a much-anticipated 35th anniversary celebration tour of their acclaimed album, The Luxury Gap, the Sheffield trio, Heaven 17, are coming to our shores. Along with acts such as The Human League and OMD,  Heaven 17 helped pioneer 80’s Synth Pop in the UK in a way that spoke for a generation…or two. These masters of the form come to our humble O2 Academy towards the end of the month with few tickets left, so grab them now for your entry past the pearly gates.

Jessie J, Empire Theatre – 25th November

Well it seems to be the month to see stars up, close and personal doesn’t it? Here is another. Jessie J has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world and she comes to our Liverpool Empire Theatre on the 25th. Whether it’s on The Voice, in the charts, or on stage, Jessie J is a tour-de-force with her attitude, vocal ability and performances. Even though the Empire is one of our most beautiful venues, it’s still an intimate show for an artist like this, so get your tickets here before they sell out.

Clean Cut Kid, Arts Club – 30th November

To finish off this month’s list we have another local act that are flying the nest and becoming recognised on a national, and even international platform. Their debut album took the underground Indie-Pop scene by storm following their smash hit, Vitamin C. The band have gone through a few changes as they develop their sound and continue on their journey; a journey that they welcome us to be part of. So, before this one goes and sells out, too, get your tickets here.

What shows are you most looking forward to this month, or in fact the rest of the year? We want to know, so let us know via our Facebook and Twitter.
