Liverpool LightNight will be brightening our Friday with a superb round up of Art and Cultural events streaming all over the city, and on Saturday The Run For The 96 takes place in lockdown, uniting supporters once more.
Over the weekend, spend the day live with Chester Zoo, get Ravin Fit with Lee Butler, visit the live online Sweet Pea & Little Wolf market, and get involved in the Big Red LFC Design Competition.

Friday 15 May
Live Virtual Zoo Day at Chester Zoo, 10am-4pm
Make friends with the Chester Zoo residents live on the hour for 20-min sessions in your living room. Starting with breakfast with one horned rhinos at 10am, meet the biggest species of frogs, have lunch with cheetahs at 12pm, and enjoy tropical bird feeding, hang out with orangutans and visayan warty pigs – named after punk rockers!
Weekend Cocktails from Present Company
Order your drinks by 2pm Friday from School Lane’s Present Company with bundles of six cocktails, chips & dip, and a link to this weeks banger playlist!
Home Cook Liverpool recipes
Our series of recipes from some of Liverpool’s best-loved restaurants brings Home Cook Liverpool 4, with even more dishes to make and enjoy at home including Ma Boyle’s Scouse, delicious hummus from Maray and lasagne from Salthouse Bacaro. As part of Light Night at home and FACT’s Bat Week, join for a special video Q&A with Merseyside & West Lancs Bat Group expert Charlie Liggett. Bats get given a spooky rep, but these fascinating creatures need our help to keep bats doing important ecological work.

Liverpool’s annual Run For The 96 was scheduled for Stanley Park, but now they’re bringing it home a with this virtual option that gives supporters all over the world the opportunity to run, jog or walk to remember The 96.
